Platinum Healthcare’s current leadership team played a central role in delivering large-scale crisis response services through two FEMA-funded initiatives focused on Crisis Management and Crisis Counseling. These two efforts reflect Platinum Community Care’s expertise in coordinating rapid, scalable crisis response rooted in empathy, community presence, and public health best practices. 

Superstorm Sandy
In the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy in 2012, our team swiftly mobilized and deployed over 300 crisis counselors and case workers into the communities most severely impacted. These professionals met individuals where they were—on the ground in affected neighborhoods—providing immediate support and guidance during a time of widespread devastation. 

COVID-19 Pandemic
As the COVID-19 pandemic created a new kind of crisis, our leadership assembled and trained team of 300 counselors and case workers to provide compassionate, community-based support. These efforts focused on individuals struggling with illness, job loss, grief, and emotional distress.
